New feature film ‘Sky Blue’ by Hossein Soheilizadeh has reached halfway through the film shoot in Qeshm Island.
The film shoot has recently kicked off in the Iranian island of Qeshm in the Strait of Hormoz and is currently halfway complete.
The film's production team will head to Tehran in the next few days and resume shooting in several locations inside the country as well as abroad.
Some of the well-known names in the cast list are Mohammad-Reza Foroutan, Mitra Hajjar, Homayoun Ershadi, Sam Derakhshani and Anahita Dargahi.
Produced by Iraj Mohammadi and penned by Babak Kaydan, ‘Sky Blue’ is a chapter from the romantic life of a couple.
Soheilizadeh has directed several series, including ‘Family Restaurant’, ‘The Petty Rentier’, ‘Cocoons of Flight’, ‘A Mother's Song’, ‘Gilad’, ‘Worlds Apart’, ‘Mirage’, ‘3-5-2’, ‘The Daughters of Eve’ and ‘The Sound of Rain’.
